Reviews

"My trip to Italy would not have been complete without a tour in Tuscany with Creative Edge. Being an avid traveler, I am naturally skeptical of tours and prefer to plan my own unique trips. However, after traveling into the villages of Tuscany with Sierra, I can honestly say that no amount of research could have provided me with that type of experience. Her expertise in the area and connection with the locals allows you to get a taste and feel of the true culture of Italy. Every part of the trip was generally laid out, but each experience felt very unique. Sierra works passionately to ensure that the Italy she knows and loves is exactly what you see.If you want to get off the beaten path and see parts of Italy that otherwise would be inaccessible without local connections and the necessary language skills, these are the trips for you. Thanks, Sierra!"

Sierra speaks Italian beautifully, smiles freely, and opens doors to unique experiences with everyday people you encounter throughout your travels - waiters, shop owners, folks of all ages strolling and playing in the piazzas in the evening. I'll never forget when we encountered a lovely, older Italian woman outside her home. After a few minutes of conversing with Sierra in Italian, she invited us inside her home and showed us her late husband's extensive collection of Etruscan artifacts. These kinds of incredible experiences were the norm, not the exception, because of the relationships Sierra has nurtured in Italy and the enthusiasm she radiates. Anyone can give you a guided tour of the Colosseum. Sierra connects you to the heart of what truly draws us to Italy - the traditions, zest for life, and curation of beauty passed down generation to generation in this ancient culture.

"I am used to crowded cultural places where you can see nothing but people taking selfies in front of monuments … I was looking for an authentic, quiet, relaxed and human-centered vacation, that’s why I decided to try the Creative Edge Travel experience. The trip Sierra and her team designed for me and my friend was just way above my expectations. She brought us to a small typical village (San Miniato) and we had a magical day there, talking with locals and discovering traditional products. We went to little tiny restaurants, and took walks that we never would have found without her and her knowledge of Tuscany. We felt like the only ones in the world of Italy, able to take a deep breath from our busy lives. Thanks again Sierra, and see you soon for another trip!"
