This morning you will meet in the historic center of Rome with a craftsman to start the day together right from breakfast. Together, you'll share the Italian morning routine of drinking an espresso, munching a pastry, and chatting with his friends as they come and go. With the help of an English-speaking friend who will be there to translate, you’ll be able to ask the craftsman questions about his trade or his daily life in Rome. (It's also a great opportunity to try your Italian!)

After breakfast, your new artisan friend will accompany you to his art studio in the historic center to show you his life's work and passion. Get a behind-the-scenes look at a historic craft that is sadly disappearing and learn how the artisan hopes to keep it alive! After spending a few hours with the artisan, enjoy a light lunch of Roman pizza with mortadella or a selection of salami and cheese with a glass of wine for a delicious end to this unique experience!
