In this half-day experience reachable by train from Florence, you’ll have the honor of spending quality time with a master leather craftsman who still creates handmade leather saddles, bags, and accessories the traditional way. In fact, he doesn’t use any machines in his work, with the exception of a small grinding wheel for polishing the edges of the leather. After an introduction to his craft and workshop, the artisan will lead you through creating your own cell phone cover, belt, coin purse or other small item to take home!
