Visit an ancient, privately-owned Abbey, a fascinating structure built by Benedictine monks in the 14th century and very well preserved by the Inglese family. At the end of the Abbey visit, you’ll jump on mountain bikes (or drive for a more relaxing experience) for a ride around the local countryside with your guide, Marco. You’ll reach the medieval village of Giuliana and taste local food as you visit the village. On the way to Chiusa Sclafani, you’ll have some off-road excursions, something easy just to have some fun with the mountain bikes. In Chiusa Sclafani, you’ll visit Saint Sebastian Church and its marvelous baroque decorations. Before continuing, you’ll make a stop for one of the best Sicilian cannoli. Finally, arrive at a local olive and prickly pear farm where you’ll have a homemade dinner with the family in their typical farmhouse!
