What You WON'T Experience

  • Buses packed with 40+ strangers and your guide yelling "CAN EVERYONE HEAR ME?"

  • Rushing through 6 cities in 8 days to check boxes

  • Staged "local experiences" at tourist-traps

  • Following an umbrella through crowds

What You WILL Experience

Just 7 Travelers (Not 16+)
While other tours call 16+ people a "small group", our group of 7 will fit into a local farmer's kitchen. You'll get a table in the corner of a family-run rifugio, not disrupt the entire restaurant.

Villages, Not Tourist Traps
Stay in St. Peter (population: tiny) where the locals know your face by day two. No fighting crowds at Lake Braies—we go in the off season that just so happens to be ablaze with autumn color.

Real Locals, Real Stories
Share homemade schnapps with a third-generation farmer at his homestead. Learn to make Tyrolean dumplings from a recipe passed down through the generations. These aren't "performances"—they're genuine invitations into local life.

Free Time Without FOMO
Every day has built-in downtime. Read a book with Alpine views. Wander the village. Take a nap. You won't feel guilty for skipping an activity—this is YOUR trip too.

Hiking, Cooking, Festivals—Not Just Walking Tours
Day 1: Traditional Törggelen feast
Day 3: Schnapps tasting on a working farm
Day 5: Cooking class with a local chef
Day 7: Authentic farmer's festival with locals

....Every day brings something different, not just another walking tour, and hikes to join when you're feeling adventurous.

Slow Travel That Actually Feels Like Vacation
Two 4-night stays mean you actually unpack. Mornings start with hikes, afternoons are for recovering over wine. No 6am wake-up calls to rush to the next city.

Reserve your spot– only 4 left!

Itinerary for Small Group Tours of the Dolomites

Our Dolomites Itinerary DAY BY DAY

Hidden Locations & Local Perspectives

DAY 2: Hiking & Sipping with the Locals

DAY 2: Hiking & Sipping with the Locals

After a relaxed morning, we'll meet a local farmer and hiking guide for a moderate walk through the valley. We'll pass charming chapels and stroll through scenic fields on our way to the next town for lunch. Our guide, local to the Dolomites, knows every plant and animal in the area and loves sharing his knowledge along the trail. He also has a delicious secret—he makes his own schnapps! We'll end our hike with a tasting at his family farm, where you'll meet his wife and see how they work the land together. Afterwards, we'll head back to our B&B where you'll have free time to relax until dinner.

The Dolomites YOUR Way

Traditional Törggelen Feast to Kick Off Your Adventure

Start your journey the South Tyrolean way — with a harvest celebration meal featuring new wine, smoked meats, stuffed pasta, and chestnuts roasted over an open fire. This centuries-old autumn tradition is how locals mark the changing season, and you'll experience it on Day 1.

agriturismo1.jpg

Two Home Bases, Not a Different Hotel Every Night

Unpack once and stay 4 nights in the charming village of St. Peter, then 4 nights at a peaceful agriturismo in the countryside. No living out of your suitcase or rushing to catch morning checkout times.

October Fall Colors Without the Summer Crowds

We're traveling firmly off-season when the larch forests blaze golden, the trails are nearly empty, and prices drop. The downside? Some high-elevation services close. The upside? You'll have these mountains almost entirely to yourself.

Free Time Every Afternoon to Just... Be

Most days you'll return to your accommodation by 3 or 4pm. Read a book in a cozy nook, take a walk through the village, enjoy a drink with the view — there's no packed schedule forcing you to rush. This is your vacation too.

From A to B in a Private Van, Not a Tour Bus

Getting around in our 8-seater van means intimate travel without the chaos of large buses. Your driver and 24/7 bilingual trip leader handle all the logistics so you can relax and enjoy the unbelievable scenery.
