I'm Sierra. Before starting a study abroad program in Italy in undergrad, I studied Italian on my own between classes because I knew I would want to immerse myself with locals. This opened the door to so many amazing experiences I'd never imagined I would have. 

When I opened my mouth and started speaking Italian, I also discovered a side of myself that I didn't know existed–I was more confident, more feisty, more curious and open! I continued teaching myself Italian until I became fluent. 

I later moved to New York City where I began my career in the travel industry, working for top boutique agencies in NYC and Europe before founding Creative Edge Travel in 2017. I love helping others experience Italy's far-flung places, fading traditions, and phenomenal nature through genuine connection with locals.
